This is my Monday book purchase; it had come down to a close choice between Spectacles of Leisure in Edith Wharton's New York and the latest issue of House and Sling. Another bright spot was that I finally ordered Alexander Chee's "Edinburgh". Not being able to find that book in this cultural void had been nipping at me like a rat on my nylons. It will soon be here, thankfully.

Thanks for that. So you're the angel I called for. It's good to make those warehouse kids at Amazon run around a bit. I'll sign it for you on what would appear the now-fated trip I have to make to Miami to drink rum punch and tip gogo boys per your specifications.
I admire your choices but the article on vibrating butt plugs in the latest issue of House and Sling is not to be missed.
Alexander you are, as usual, a fountain of ideas. Go-go boy etiquette; I could be the Emily Post of the subject. I'd be invited to talk shows, maybe even Dr. Phil; then, of course, the book signings you know so well.
Steverford, I feel ashamed to admit it, but I was one of those bookstore nightmares today and read the article on butt plugs without paying for the magazine.
