The Sport Ball

That was tonight's theme for the opening of White Party week. I was a little confused as I did not own many items of apparel that might be considered "Sport". My earlier hopes were dashed quickly by one wag who noted that "Croquet is NOT sport." (Sometimes, I hate these bitches.)The best I could do was to locate an old pair of bicycle bloomers I wore in the 1890's when I careened through Central Park. In those days I was quite cognizant of maintaining a public image even if my private one left so very, very much to be desired.
