Nigella Lawson Mixing Bowls

My new set of mixing bowls arrived this afternoon, and not a moment too soon. The Tuesday Night Dinner is upon us and I have to get working on something. Cooking show goddess Nigella Lawson's line of kitchen ware is carried by Industrial house here. I get excited by things like this, too; I get all tingly when I enter Williams Somoma every weekend.

du Barry is all depressed and I hope tomorrow's dinner (hosted by Wickenhausen this week) will cheer her up. She says her blood pressure is too high and intimated that I was a contributor to that condition. It seems my shallow and tawdry lifestyle is worrying her, and that it's not the sherry Bechamel sauce that seems to accompany everything she serves. Deep down, she really misses Newport and all the projects she runs there; in addition she has been saying things like, "I'm over the Latin thing." which is patently absurd. How can you ever be over Latins?

I'm considering Spanish Garlic Soup for tomorrow night along with a great deal of red wine for her blood pressure worries.
