IT was good to feel--if tired--back to normal today, although nothing was going to again be normal. I skipped the feel good staff meeting today because I didn't; I can't masked those types of things, but understand them.

So, I scanned my daily calendar and noted that between now and April 22, every day was taken with events that ranged from birthdays and going away parties, the all-encompassing Winter Music Conference and even family reunions. I was making the necessary notes on how each event needed certain props, cakes, or favors when I got a message that there was a call for me from a Diego of Papi.Com. My hand grabbed that phone faster than a starving frog's tounge would a fat fly.

Oh, they were sorry, but could we give them the back bar tonight at 11 PM; he knew it was an imposition of such late notice. (I don't know how much an imposition it would be on another person for a large group of hot Latinos to arrive in order to get drunk and shoot a porno film, but--and Mamie Stuyvesant Fish would agree--it is not the front ballroom being requested, but the back, and this sets it on a shelf of propriety much different than usual.) Within minutes, I returned Diego's call to say the bartender was booked and the room readied.

Oh, well; the world goes on--for now. It's nap time.
