"the" Mrs. Astor

Before getting to Dr. Brad's night, his love, and his adorable son, I will relate one, final story about the gay pride party on Saturday. We have been cursed with the expected, seasonal rains, but the storm on Saturday was ferocious, and while the weather was raging outside a fierce drag show was raging in. Tiffany and Geraldine passed out flags to everyone in celebration when the rain suddenly stopped and the sun came out. This is not at all unusual in Florida; one moment you are clinging to a tree in a flash flood and the next slathering sun tan lotion over yourself and asking for a cocktail. It's always life on the edge here.

I walked out on to the patio to see the sky and there it was: a brilliant rainbow over The Atlantic Ocean; I summoned Thomas Barker to quickly take a photo of everyone saluting the sky and he came up with this image we will remember forever.

This looks like a picture of the deck of the Titanic before it sank.

I am all atwitter to find out if Dr. Bruce said Yes. Please don't keep us in suspense much longer.

quite the analogy, Countess. You will only wait a little longer for Love Story, South Beach Style.
