Many calls came in to me yesterday asking for details on Terry's untimely death; someone that well-liked stirs up a lot of questions, but there is not much to say yet. The three articles in the beaches section of The Herald are, "Miami Beach to beef up tourism business" (like that's something these highly-paid hacks shouldn't be doing all the time--and well in advance), "SoBe's opulent new Meat Market lives up to its name" (as if we need another), and "Summer camp scholarships available for Jewish children" (as if they can't pay for their own. How about the poor Haitian school children? Anyone want to send them anywhere but back to Haiti? Their mothers and fathers clean the hotels and streets just to feed themselves. Ever think of giving their kids some kind of a break?)

My ear will be on the ground (or the bar I should say), but don't expect any announcement. The game is that any "investigation-pending" crime is not reported upon and since the attention span of the average person living here mirrors that of a fruit fly, most cases fade away.
