Well, what do you know; we just played the first game and it was not only more fun than we hoped, but I turned out to be right about the horizontal, vertical, diagonal play of bingo. So there; during the break I'm playing strip chinese checkers with Connie Chung.

I always swore I wouldn't end up as a blue-haired old lady playing Bingo but I just might after all if my favorite drinking establishment turns into a Bingo Parlor.
I didn't play, of course, as it would be a conflict of interest. But, just as I suspected, excitement built up quickly to the point where some were playing 20 cards at once for a bottle of 1800. It also kept everyone there for the three games and the superb entertainment between shows of Juicy P.
Alas, it was another "great idea, I'll come back next week" that kept me there until midnight. Sigh.
