Well, it is official: Ditmar is putting his hat on, packing his bags, and heading back to The Palace. The wags around court always were taking bets as to when that would happen; so much is predictable here.

Personally, I would have advised against it, and although I knew about the negotiations, stayed far away. There is a point where things like intrigue, plotting, rumor, and downright treachery are not fun anymore. But, so be it; he has been given total control over the back bar to make it what he likes and that is the key to someone like Ditmar: Total Control. It scares me to hear him say, "Now Ve Vill do it the vay ve vant." And just who is the "Ve"?
