The Herald does come out with some fine tidbits now and then, particularly these two slide shows: South Beach, Then and Now and Club Life, Then and Now. I won't bother to mention how many of the characters I know in the second one.

Those slideshows made me homesick...
Club Life looks so much more fun then than it does now.
Oh, it was, and was one of the reasons I moved here. Of course, as soon as I did The League of Decency took over City Hall. Back then it was a lawless society.
And that's a good thing some times.
