Last night offered an opportunity for every member of this guilded sand bar to enjoy something so special that is only accorded to them on special occasions: The Gay and Lesbian Film Festival booked the entire stretch of Espanola Way to thank the gay community and demonstrate why they still make up a large, wealthy, segment of this town. For the low, low price of ten dollars you could join the party, drink all night, and be a part of an evening that will always be remembered; it was SO South Beach.
We all met up at Score before the event to make sure no one was left out. The Proceedural March was something out of Queen Victoria's funeral; every person of imagined-importance was in it. The only thing missing was the band, but Thomas Barker's humming of Felix Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream filled that!
While at Score, I got to cozy up to my new Court Favorite, Diego. He's from Merida and I spent some time there so we have a few interests in common.
Once on Espanola Way, it was hard to keep Ditmar from hobnobbing with the celebrities like Adora.
I, too, had to keep boyz at bay (a great title for a show).
