D-Bar officially opened with great fanfare for Ditmar's birthday party.
He is supremely proud of his signature room decorated like a parlor from the last days of The Hapsburg Empire.

It was a Ditmar night: everything was colored red, a sort of victory color for someone who has fought long and hard to get what he always wanted: His Own Bar. As expected the crowd was supremely eclectic, wildly amusing, and just way out there. It looks like it was the watershed moment he had been hoping for, because D-Bar had never formally opened until last night.

I wish I could have been there. It looks like a great success!

Just a a footnote, Transylvania was part of the Hapsburg empire until 1918. After the end of WWI, it was given to Romania. For the last two years, it's former royal family established Court in the dark mountains outside of Boston in an area now named Transylchusetts. It's current ruler, Countess Bedelia, has more jewels than Harry Winston. Rumors that she baths in the blood of virgins to stay young have never been proven.
